I'm a professional Make-Up Artist... in training
Beauty School... it's like going back to high school. Having to make new friends, having to GO to school, and having to learn. Except you know, I'd rather Make-up over Accounting any day. Luckily enough, the girls plus guy are nice, and we have the cool teachers. I'm struggling a little though, juggling beauty school and uni at the same time... I was considering taking a semester off but really it's no point because I graduate beauty school next November.

So far so good, not too bad, not that great either. A little unorganized on the school's behalf, but hey, at least it got better. Possibly the only annoying part of the whole process is having to bring your kit to and from school every school day. Of course I decided to incorporate some of my old shitty products in conjunction with the ones we got in our kits, I just thought we would have gotten a little more considering how much we pay.

Once you start the practicals and finish with the theory, it's not all too bad. It's not smooth sailing either, you present your work, you get critiqued and hopefully you learn and improve.

 A natural bridal make up look I practiced on Monique, practice practice practice.

My take on a bridal look, adding pink of course because that's my favorite color. DUH!

It's extremely weird how one particular look can appear a lot different depending on the model's face. My take on a fashion look, which I had to tweak a little on Nicole.

I need to start taking more photos of my work, even though they aren't that great it's a good thing to document your work. Probably need to buy a proper camera, anything is better than my Iphone right now. I miss my Galaxy Note ):

Moving on... not related to Make-Up.

Michael took me to Fedeles, an Italian Restaurant in which I've been wanting to go to for years! What a romantic guy! I want to bitch slap him!

Then we went to Ikea and he bought me a $7 dollar chair. I guess it's Love.

What have I been doing? Spending time with Michael, my laptop and Michael. Exams are close and every one is studying, or trying to. I can't wait until it's all over, won't have to deal with all this work crap.

BYE MOTHER BITCHES. I'LL BE BACK!

The blogger;
I be Nika. 21 years young. I was born in Cambodia and raised in Australia. I'm that Asian kid who sucks at understanding Australian slang and frequently refers to urban dictionary when speaking to her white friends. There are a lot of things I love and hate about life, thus I try every now and then to write something down. So here it goes, welcome.
