I'm a professional Make-Up Artist... in training
Beauty School... it's like going back to high school. Having to make new friends, having to GO to school, and having to learn. Except you know, I'd rather Make-up over Accounting any day. Luckily enough, the girls plus guy are nice, and we have the cool teachers. I'm struggling a little though, juggling beauty school and uni at the same time... I was considering taking a semester off but really it's no point because I graduate beauty school next November.
So far so good, not too bad, not that great either. A little unorganized on the school's behalf, but hey, at least it got better. Possibly the only annoying part of the whole process is having to bring your kit to and from school every school day. Of course I decided to incorporate some of my old shitty products in conjunction with the ones we got in our kits, I just thought we would have gotten a little more considering how much we pay.
Once you start the practicals and finish with the theory, it's not all too bad. It's not smooth sailing either, you present your work, you get critiqued and hopefully you learn and improve.
A natural bridal make up look I practiced on Monique, practice practice practice.
My take on a bridal look, adding pink of course because that's my favorite color. DUH!
It's extremely weird how one particular look can appear a lot different depending on the model's face. My take on a fashion look, which I had to tweak a little on Nicole.
I need to start taking more photos of my work, even though they aren't that great it's a good thing to document your work. Probably need to buy a proper camera, anything is better than my Iphone right now. I miss my Galaxy Note ):
Moving on... not related to Make-Up.
Michael took me to Fedeles, an Italian Restaurant in which I've been wanting to go to for years! What a romantic guy! I want to bitch slap him!
Then we went to Ikea and he bought me a $7 dollar chair. I guess it's Love.
What have I been doing? Spending time with Michael, my laptop and Michael. Exams are close and every one is studying, or trying to. I can't wait until it's all over, won't have to deal with all this work crap.
BYE MOTHER BITCHES. I'LL BE BACK!

I've been away for quite some time, bare with me while I come up with some pathetic excuse.
I've got to say, this has got to be the best holidays I've ever had. Seemingly because I've come to terms with a lot of things about myself. I wish I could say it was because I learned the art of self loving, but realistically, I was just blessed with the company of some awesome people. Namely, one particular person who was able to accept me regardless of what state I was in, and reassure me no matter what, I am beyond special. As Watsky says, "I don't care where you've been, how many miles, I still love you."
You give me that kind of something, want it all the time need it everyday.
So instead of boring you with my thoughts and babbles, why not show you?
I've begun to immerse myself a lot more with nature, embracing the free good things in life and learning to understand things a bit more. I've come to learn that I thoroughly enjoy spending time out and about, it gives me a sense of freedom, and even though it's momentary, my problems and worries aren't that big of a deal compared to the rest of the world. It's soothing, friendly, and inviting.
I'll make sure to come back. I consistently tell myself how much I miss writing on here, but my laziness fails to comply. I really want to start v-logging. Quite excited that I'm starting my make-up course soon. It should be interesting to see how it goes.
Well good night fellow buttercups, sleep well. I haven't been getting good sleeps in a while. I just can't figure out why... maybe it's time to clean my room, again.

So Chris gets this call from his friend today, let's call him John. John begins by asking the world's most simplest question, "Why is Nika talking shit about me to her girls?" And the issue began.
Let's get this straight, before anyone goes around accusing me of doing something, get your fucking facts right. I don't appreciate the fact that I'm being pointed fingers at just as much as John didn't like being talked about. But you know what John, regardless of who the fuck you are, people talk, and that's the first thing you learn about life. You know what you do in these situation, be the better person and grow the fuck up. I do, it's not that hard. By all means, I'm not not saying you shouldn't confront them, just do so in the right manner.
I listened to everything you had to say in that phone conversation, I heard it all and I even understand where you were coming from. However it was obvious you couldn't sit through a word I had to say to explain my side of the story, so you know what, I'm not even gonna bother with this, I'll let Chris handle it because he's your friend.
I am a respectful person who is considerate enough to keep my mouth shut when someone is telling me something I shouldn't know. Point for Nika. If by saying, "John is a nice guy, I just don't think you should get too close to him because there are stuff about him you don't know," and looking out for your girlfriend was so fucking wrong, you can just fucking shoot me in the head right now because I won't even bother anymore. I just won't. I had the decency to inform my friend in the most polite way possible, I could have went full out and talked a whole lot of crap about you, but surprise, I didn't. Two points for Nika.
And in response to my friend's remark in saying how "people should own up to what they say," I completely agree, hence why I am not afraid to let John know of what I said, however it just comes to show how even a good deed sometimes doesn't get you anywhere. Best recommendation for life kids, just keep your mouth shut, even if you were just trying to look out for a friend, your input is apparently not necessary. My intentions were never to restrict you from getting to know John, like the cliche "never judge a book by it's cover," be my guest, get to know him like your life depended on it for all I care, I just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting yourself into, period. If you people see a wrong in that, my apologies, from now on I will remember that showing concern for a friend is a waste of time.
If I got a dollar for every time people stayed out of my business, I wouldn't need to work another single day of my life. But that's human instincts you see, its inevitable. So in saying what you do is your business and nobody else's, you might as well assassinate the whole living population to make that statement anywhere near true. Your actions are bound to affect people, it affects the people directly and indirectly involved in the situation. Again, you're always gonna get a lot of people talking, sometimes good and sometimes not so pleasant. We've all been there, it's not foreign to any of us. You just gotta learn to accept it.
To conclude, I'm so fucking over it, I don't have time to deal with another unnecessary High School dilemma. I want nothing to do with any of this anymore so trust me in saying, your names will never come out of my mouth again regardless the situation or conversation. I see nothing, I hear nothing. Are you all fucking happy now?
Chris and I were enjoying our dinner at TGI Fridays before any of this shit happened. I look sad but I wasn't, food wasn't all that great but it filled me up so I guess I'm content.
That is all for the post, toodles buttercups.

I suffered the most painful cramps this morning, imagine the feeling of your uterus wanting to explode, your body shaking so much you could not stand, and wanting to vomit all at the same time. It was a complete disaster. I had to sleep it off for about 5 hours before I felt anywhere near better. It was good though, after I woke up, Chris, Michelle, Vitchard, Ian and I decided to have dinner at the all you can eat Korean BBQ in Clayton. Honestly didn't feel like I ate $33 dollars worth but the food was so good it was worth it.
I feel like a ceasar salad right now... damn all these cravings. I hate being a girl ):
